What is the Rebozo Care?

The rebozo care, or Rebozo Ritual, is a treatment generally offered after childbirth (after the 40 days, the famous golden month). It lasts 2.5 to 3 hours and is usually performed by two practitioners or one. It is a very comprehensive treatment.
It consists of three main steps:
A full-body massage with oils to relax and release muscle tension
A sweating session (hammam, temazcal) helps eliminate accumulated toxins from the body
The closure or "cerrada" of different areas of the body with rebozos

Tightening several areas of the body allows the new mother to regain her vital energy, become more centered, feel less lost in her body, and release the strong emotions she experienced during childbirth.
The only contraindication to this treatment is heart problems due to sweating. Don't hesitate to discuss this with the practitioner; she will be able to find other alternatives.
This treatment can be performed outside of the postpartum period. It can also be used at key life stages, such as menopause, a separation, or a life change that moves you to the next chapter of your story.
It's a joy to share this treatment with you.
